Blyna AIPrivacy Policy
Blyna AI ("Blyna", "we", "us") is an AI companion app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because your conversations are personal.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and the display name you choose.
- Conversations: the messages you send and the replies Blyna generates.
- Memories: short notes extracted from your messages (for example "favourite food: ramen") so Blyna can remember what matters to you.
- Usage data: message counts used to apply the hourly free-message limit.
- Reports: if you report a reply, we store the report and the related message so we can review it.
2. How we use it
- To provide the chat service and generate replies.
- To remember context across conversations.
- To enforce usage limits, prevent abuse and keep the service safe.
- To review reported content and improve safety.
We do not sell your data and we do not use your conversations for advertising.
3. AI processing
To generate replies, your recent messages, your display name and your saved memories are sent securely from our servers to a third-party AI provider (currently Groq). The provider processes this data only to return a response. Your device never contacts the AI provider directly, and no AI keys are stored in the app.
4. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) and is protected with row-level security, so each account can only access its own data. Data is encrypted in transit.
5. Your choices and rights
- View and delete memories in the app's Memories screen.
- Delete your conversation from Settings. Messages are permanently removed.
- Delete your account from Settings. Your profile, conversations, messages, memories and reports are permanently deleted.
- You can also email us to access, correct or delete your data at support@blynaai.com.
6. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete content or your account, it is removed from our active systems. Backups may retain it for a short period before being overwritten.
7. Children
Blyna is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Safety
Blyna is not a substitute for professional help. If you are in crisis or danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be shown in the app or on this page with a new date.
